Tirupati Graphite Plc is an established name in natural flake graphite markets, following years of production and sales, graphite project development and its listing on public capital markets.
High-quality natural flake graphite is produced in Madagascar up to 97% Carbon purity, and is supplied directly to consumers in refractories, crucibles, and other industrial market segments, as well as input material for advanced downstream graphite anode and energy storage applications.


madagascar Projects
- The Company has been active since 2017 in Madagascar where it holds and operates the Vatomina and Sahamamy flake graphite projects, with a combined planned nameplate production capacity of 36ktpa when both fully operational.
- The Vatomina project is in production with an 18ktpa nameplate production capacity. Sahamamy is currently on Care & Maintenance.
- The Vatomina and Sahamamy projects are both fully permitted, with 40 year renewable mining permits covering a total permit area of 33 km².
- Madagascar has a stable jurisdiction and policy for the mining and processing industry, and Madagascar’s mining code provides good tenement security.
- Madagascar is well known for supplying high quality large flake graphite to international markets.
mozambique Projects
- We acquired the entire issued share capital of Suni Resources SA, holding the Montepuez and Balama Central graphite projects, from Battery Minerals Limited (ASX:BAT), in 2023.
- Across a combined 18,500ha permit area, JORC resource estimates for the combined two complementary graphite deposits contain mineral resources >152 million tons at 8.5% total graphite content (TGC), hosting >12 million tons of contained graphite; this increased Tirupati’s JORC group resources by a factor of 12.
- Located in Cabo Delgado province of northern Mozambique, the projects sit in the world's largest flake graphite producing region outside of China.
